Join us at Pennwood for an evening of BBQ education and amazing food. The meats for this evenings selection will be Beef Brisket and Chicken. Chris Combs will be the host for the evening, and will be educating you in the preferred selection of meats, the preparations, smoking processes and finish seasonings to give the best available flavors possible.

The grills being used for this evenings festivities include units from Smokin Brothers, Gateway Drums and Big Green Egg.

Sides and Desserts will be available as well.

 

Smoked Beef Brisket

Steps to a great Brisket...

Trimming - Properly prepare the cut

Seasoning - Apply dry rub using binder

Smoking - Low and slow is best

Wrapping - Keeping the moisture in

Resting - Rest period prior to slicing

Grilled BBQ Chicken

Exceptional Results...

Season the meat well

Grill over a medium-high heat

Move from medium-high to indirect heat

Do not overcook, keep an eye on your temps

Apply Sauce to keep from drying out

Allow the chicken to rest before serving
